Nottingham Green Party announces 2017 general election candidates

Nottingham Green Party is proud to announce our candidates for the 2017 General Election.

After a selection meeting, hustings, and ballot of our membership held last week, we have democratically selected a candidate to represent every constituency we cover.

Gedling: Rebecca Connick

Nottingham East: Kat Boettge

Nottingham North: Kirsty Jones

Nottingham South: Adam McGregor

Rushcliffe: Richard Mallender

Sherwood: Morris Findley

We now look forward to contesting the election with our passionate, talented and truly diverse list of candidates.

Nottingham Green Party stands up for what matters.

We seek to involve everyone and let all voices be heard. Politics is changing on every level, in the UK and beyond, and we offer a positive vision which respects the environment, protects human rights and builds an economy for everyone.

The Green Party of England and Wales will shortly produce our national manifesto and we look forward to engaging the public at hustings and events in the run up to the June vote.

In the past week we have already announced plans for emergency intervention on air pollution, a ratification referendum on the Brexit deal and scrapping tuition fees and bringing back maintenance grants for students.

Stand with us for a bolder, brighter, bigger future for Nottingham.
