Tim Beaumont, Lord Beaumont of Whitley, had been our lone Green Party peer since defecting from the old Liberal Party in 1999.  Although he had been quite frail for some time he was still working up until the start of this month and was taking answers in the House of Lords to questions he'd put on Biofuels, Public Sector Information and energy efficiency in Building Regulations.

A memorial service washeld for him at 2.30 pm on Friday 18th April at the Church of the Holy Spirit, Narbonne Avenue, London, SW4. Richard Mallender and others members of the local party attended.
