Tonight (21/9/2006) 26 Conservative Councillors voted against a Sustainable Communities resolution proposed by Green Party Councillor for Lady Bay, Sue Blount. The main aim of the resolution (which already has the support of over 800 local councils and 330 M.Ps) is to support the local economy, services, facilities and environment whilst preventing further community decline.
